Twilight Information Event for Teachers

 

Willesden Jewish Cemetery has been a prestigious burial ground for London’s Jewish community since 1873. It is the final resting place of many notable figures, including Rosalind Franklin, pioneer of DNA research, and Jack Cohen, founder of Tesco.

With its House of Life Heritage Centre, historic gardens, listed buildings, and significant memorials, the site offers a rich and meaningful experience for school visits - bringing Jewish history, culture and values to life through stories and learning.

 What can we offer you and your students?

·      Educational experiences either onsite or through outreach. For all Key Stages,  both Primary and Secondary

·       Sessions can be incorporated into teaching plans for English, Geography, History and RE

·       Programmes are aligned to the national curriculum

·       Detailed information about our workshops, guided walks and object handling

·       This twilight event gives you the opportunity to meet some of our dedicated team of volunteers and staff who are passionate about enhancing students’ educational  journeys

There will also be a chance to ask questions and explore our learning packs as well as discuss customised solutions for your school's unique needs.
