Take your students on a journey of historical discovery and intrigue.
Each workshop includes:
A short introduction and welcome
A workshop
The chance to explore the cemetery on foot with a designed cross-curricular trail
Please note: content for secondary schools has been adapted to suit a more advanced level of understanding.
Cost
Taught visits including a workshop and self-guided tour cost £1 per child.
Sessions are best experienced in single class groups, but we can if necessary accommodate two classes, with a maximum of 60 students per session.
If the cost of the session is going to be a barrier for your group please get in touch at heritagelearning@theus.org.uk to find out about subsidised places for schools with high levels of deprivation. These subsidies are limited and are first come, first serve.
Once your session is confirmed we’ll send you an invoice for the full amount. Invoices must be paid two weeks from the invoice date.
