Join us for a fun community greening day at the Willesden Jewish Cemetery – a brilliant holiday activity for the whole family. We will be getting stuck in with some planting and learning about biodiversity. There will also be a fantastic opportunity to take a walk amongst centuries of rich heritage and stories at the Willesden Jewish Cemetery.
Get a chance to visit the famous gravestones including the grave of Rosalind Franklin who discovered the structure of DNA. The walk will also present an opportunity learn about the cemetery’s biodiversity journey and how they transformed the site into a place that nurtures both life and death.
The Willesden Jewish Cemetery is a Faith Climate Ambassador for Brent Council and a key partner in our efforts to do everything in our gift to achieve net-zero carbon emissions in Brent by 2030. This tour will showcase our incredible work.
