Death Café

  • Willesden House of Life Willsden Jewish Cemetery London United Kingdom (map)

A Death Café is a welcoming space where people come together over tea, coffee and cake to talk openly about death in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. The concept is simple yet profound: by talking about death, we can help people make the most of their lives.

Led by our experienced and dedicated volunteers, our Death Café takes place in a beautiful, historic and peaceful setting, surrounded by history, nature and reflection. There’s no agenda, no set conclusions - just an open conversation where everyone is free to share their thoughts, listen and reflect.

As part of your visit, you are also welcome to spend time in this historic cemetery’s tranquil outdoor spaces, exploring the Grade II listed memorials and buildings, which are free to explore and also offer a place for quiet contemplation.

Be part of our inclusive space, welcoming adults of all backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue.

All welcome, booking essential.

Free onsite parking

“when I left the gathering today, I felt like I knew these people for 30 years not two hours.

I’ve never known such a connection between people of different colours religions cultures, etc., a very very rare experience.”
